In reported speech, tenses backshift: présent → imparfait (« il a dit qu'il était fatigué »), futur → conditionnel (« il a dit qu'il viendrait »), passé composé → plus-que-parfait (« il a affirmé que la réforme avait baissé le chômage »). Time markers also shift (« hier » → « la veille »).
Report (in 5 sentences) a claim someone made and your reaction, applying the sequence of tenses (présent→imparfait, futur→conditionnel).
An adaptive quiz confirms you've got it and schedules the right words for review.
