Some verbs use sein instead of haben in the perfect tense. These are mainly verbs of MOVEMENT from A to B (gehen → gegangen, fahren → gefahren, kommen → gekommen, fliegen → geflogen) and verbs of CHANGE OF STATE (aufstehen, werden), plus the special verbs sein → gewesen and bleiben → geblieben. Use ich bin, du bist, er/sie ist, wir sind, ihr seid, sie sind: « Ich bin nach München gefahren. » Time markers help structure a story: gestern (yesterday), letztes Wochenende (last weekend), am Sonntag (on Sunday), zuerst … dann … (first … then …).
Write 3-4 sentences narrating a short trip you took, using sein verbs and at least one time marker.
An adaptive quiz confirms you've got it and schedules the right words for review.
