Distinguish realistic plans from dreams. Plans/hopes use the indicative: 'Ich habe vor, im Ausland zu arbeiten'; 'Ich hoffe, dass ich es schaffe.' Hypothetical dreams use Konjunktiv II: 'Wenn ich könnte, würde ich eine Weltreise machen'; 'Mein Traum wäre, ein Buch zu schreiben.' Note 'vorhaben' is separable, so 'habe … vor', and 'zu sammeln / zu gründen' close the infinitive clauses.
Write 5-6 sentences about your plans and one big dream. Use 'ich habe vor', 'ich hoffe, dass …' and a Konjunktiv II dream.
