Strong B2 discussion deploys connectors deliberately. Concession: obwohl (verb final), zwar … aber, trotzdem. Consequence: folglich, deshalb, sodass. Proportion: je … desto. Condition: wenn, unter der Voraussetzung, dass … . Balance: einerseits … andererseits. Mind the syntax each one demands: subordinating conjunctions (obwohl, weil, sodass, dass) push the verb to the end, while adverbs (folglich, trotzdem, dennoch) keep it in position two.
Write a 5-sentence mini-debate paragraph on a topic of your choice. Use at least four different connectors (e.g. obwohl, folglich, je … desto, einerseits … andererseits).
An adaptive quiz confirms you've got it and schedules the right words for review.
