In der Einleitung formuliere ich meine These klar: Die Pressefreiheit ist das Fundament jeder Demokratie. 🔊In the introduction I state my thesis clearly: freedom of the press is the foundation of every democracy.
Im ersten Argument zeige ich, dass ohne unabhängige Medien Machtmissbrauch kaum aufgedeckt werden kann. 🔊In the first argument I show that without independent media, abuse of power can hardly be exposed.
Diesen Punkt untermauere ich mit einem konkreten Beleg, etwa einem bekannten Enthüllungsskandal. 🔊I substantiate this point with a concrete piece of evidence, such as a well-known exposé scandal.
Anschließend räume ich ein Gegenargument ein: Kritiker sagen, die Presse verbreite manchmal Falschmeldungen. 🔊Then I concede a counter-argument: critics say the press sometimes spreads false reports.

Grammar in focus · Argumentative Textstruktur

A B2 argumentative text follows a clear arc: Einleitung (state the These), Hauptteil (each Argument with a Beleg, plus one conceded and rebutted Gegenargument), Schluss (a reasoned conclusion). Signpost each stage: zunächst, im ersten Argument, darüber hinaus, andererseits, abschließend, zusammenfassend. Weave in the structures from this level — Konzessivsätze (obwohl), das Vorgangspassiv (« wird aufgedeckt »), and indirekte Rede mit Konjunktiv I (« Kritiker sagen, die Presse verbreite … ») — to show genuine B2 range.

Write a full argumentative paragraph (6–8 sentences) on: « Sollte das Homeoffice zur Regel werden? » Follow These → zwei Argumente mit Belegen → ein eingeräumtes und widerlegtes Gegenargument → Schluss.

Signpost each stage and integrate B2 range: open with your These, untermauere jedes Argument, concede with obwohl/zwar … aber, slip in one Passiv (« wird ermöglicht ») and one Konjunktiv-I report (« Studien zeigen, dies steigere die Produktivität »), then close with zusammenfassend. Take a clear stance — don't sit on the fence.
