Grammar in focus · demonstratives & colour agreement

Questo (this) agrees with the noun: questo maglione (m.s.), questa gonna (f.s.), questi guanti (m.pl.), queste scarpe (f.pl.). Colours also agree: il maglione rosso, la camicia rossa, i pantaloni rossi, le scarpe rosse. Some colours are invariable: blu and rosa never change — la gonna blu, i pantaloni rosa.

Write it yourself

Describe an outfit you like, naming at least three items and their colours.
