The future drops the infinitive ending and adds -ò, -ai, -à, -emo, -ete, -anno: parlare → parlerò, prenderò, partirò (note -are becomes -er-). Common irregulars: essere → sarò, avere → avrò, andare → andrò, fare → farò, venire → verrò. For plans soon, Italians often just use the present: « Domani vado a Roma. » To express intention: « Ho intenzione di partire. »
