Grammar in focus · talking about work

Present experience with « mi occupo di + noun » (I deal with / am in charge of) and « ho esperienza in/nella + field ». Use « da + time » for ongoing duration with the present tense: « Lavoro qui da cinque anni » (I have worked here for five years — still ongoing). Use the formal lei throughout an interview: « Ci parli di lei », « Quali sono i suoi punti di forza? ».

Write it yourself

Write a short interview self-introduction (4–5 sentences) for a job you'd like.
