Quando ho iniziato a studiare italiano, non riuscivo a dire quasi nulla. 🔊When I started learning Italian, I could hardly say anything.

Grammar in focus · putting it all together

A strong B1 piece moves through three stages. Narrate the journey with imperfetto (background/habits: « era difficile », « facevo errori ») and passato prossimo (turning points: « mi sono reso conto »). Give an opinion with « secondo me » / « penso che + congiuntivo » (« penso che si impari parlando »). Close with a plan + a hypothetical wish: « ho intenzione di… » and « se potessi, vorrei… ». Link it all with soprattutto, grazie a and d'ora in poi.

Write a short structured text (6–8 sentences): narrate your language journey, give one opinion, and end with a future plan or dream.
