Verbs of opinion and evaluation often take the congiuntivo: « trovo che la regia sia… », « penso che meriti… », « mi sembra che funzioni… ». For a past evaluation use the congiuntivo imperfetto: « sebbene fosse prevedibile » (even though it was predictable). Contrast a confident statement (« so che è bello » – indicative, certainty) with a subjective judgement (« trovo che sia bello » – subjunctive, opinion).
Write a short, balanced review (4–5 sentences) of a film or book you know, with one strength and one weakness.
An adaptive quiz confirms you've got it and schedules the right words for review.
