'This' agrees with the noun's gender: masculine 'ten sweter', feminine 'ta sukienka', neuter 'to okno'. Adjectives for colour also agree: 'czerwony sweter' (m.), 'czerwona sukienka' (f.), 'czerwone jabłko' (n.). So you say « ten niebieski sweter » but « ta niebieska koszula ».
