Z peronu trzeciego, ale jest małe opóźnienie. 🔊From platform three, but there's a small delay.
Ile minut opóźnienia? 🔊How many minutes' delay?
Około dziesięciu. Odjazd o piętnastej trzydzieści. 🔊About ten. Departure at 15:30.
Dziękuję. Chciałbym też zarezerwować miejsce. 🔊Thank you. I'd also like to book a seat.
Grammar in focus · station questions & times

Use 'Z którego peronu…?' (From which platform…?) — 'peron' takes -u in the genitive after 'z'. Times use 24-hour clock with 'o' (at): 'o piętnastej trzydzieści' (at 15:30). To say you'd like something politely, men use 'Chciałbym…' and women 'Chciałabym…' + infinitive, e.g. « Chciałabym zarezerwować miejsce. »

Write it yourself

Write a short station dialogue: ask the platform and learn about a delay.

Tip for this task
Świetnie! Use 'peron', 'opóźnienie' and a 24-hour time. Example: « Pociąg ma opóźnienie. Odjazd o szesnastej. »
