'Should' changes by gender: a man says 'powinienem', a woman 'powinnam' (I should); 'powinieneś / powinnaś' (you should). After it comes an infinitive: « Powinnaś odpocząć. » For advice/commands, the imperative drops endings: 'pić → pij!' (drink!), 'odpocząć → odpocznij!' (rest!). Politely with 'proszę' + infinitive: « Proszę kupić lek. »
Give a sick friend two pieces of advice using powinien/powinna.
