Connectors give a story its shape. Use « najpierw » (first), « potem / następnie » (then), « w trakcie » (during), « nagle » (suddenly) for a turning point, and « w końcu / wreszcie » (finally) for the resolution. They usually stand at the start of a clause: « Najpierw zjedliśmy obiad, potem poszliśmy do kina, a w końcu wróciliśmy do domu. » Combine with « okazało się, że… » (it turned out that…) to add a twist: « Okazało się, że zostawiłem bilet w domu. » Keep the aspect logic from 1-1: perfective verbs drive the chain of events forward.
Tell a short anecdote (5–6 sentences) about a day when something went wrong. Use at least three sequencing words.
