Make a complaint with « Chciałbym/Chciałabym złożyć reklamację » and describe the fault: « jest zepsuty/zepsuta/zepsute » agreeing with the noun. Express a preference with the conditional and « niż » (than): « Wolałabym zwrot pieniędzy niż wymianę. » Compare cultures with « u nas / w moim kraju » + verb: « U nas pije się herbatę po obiedzie. » The impersonal « się » construction is common for habits: « W Polsce zdejmuje się buty w domu » (In Poland one takes off shoes at home). Reuse contrast (« mimo to ») and the conditional (« mógłbym zrobić wyjątek ») from earlier modules.
Write a short complaint (5–6 sentences) about a faulty item bought on holiday and request a refund. Mention one cultural difference you noticed.
