The polite conditional softens requests and offers: « Chciałbym… » (I'd like…), « Czy mógłby Pan… / Czy mogliby Państwo… » (Could you…), « Bylibyśmy skłonni… » (We'd be inclined…). The conditional particle by attaches to the verb (chciał-by-m) or floats after a conjunction: « gdyby wzrosło », « abyśmy ustalili » (= aby + by + śmy). Nominalisation raises the register by turning verbs into nouns: realizować → realizacja, wdrożyć → wdrożenie, zaangażować → zaangażowanie. « rozważyć możliwość wydłużenia » packs the action into noun phrases — typical of formal Polish.
Write a 4–5 sentence formal counter-offer in a negotiation, using the polite conditional and at least two nominalised forms.
