Grammar in focus · język oceny (the language of critique)

Balance a critique with hedged evaluative verbs and connectors. Praise: « przekonuje », « wciąga », « porusza ważny temat ». Reservation: « pozostawia niedosyt », « razi sztucznością », « bywa przewidywalny ». Soften with choć / chociaż / mimo to: « Gra aktorska przekonuje, choć dialogi bywają drętwe. » Recommend with reservation: « Polecam, ale z zastrzeżeniem, że… » Note adjective agreement: « fabuła przewidywalna », « zakończenie przewidywalne », « dialogi przewidywalne ».
