The anterior adverbial participle marks an action COMPLETED BEFORE the main verb, same subject. Form it from the PERFECTIVE verb: zrobić → zrobiwszy, przebadać → przebadawszy, przeczytać → przeczytawszy; consonant stems take -łszy: przyjść → przyszedłszy. Example: « Przebadawszy pacjentów, zespół opublikował wyniki. » (Having examined the patients, the team published the results.) It is formal/literary — natural in scientific or written register. Same-subject rule applies, as with -ąc.

Dobrze! Use -wszy from a PERFECTIVE verb and keep one subject for both clauses. Model: « Zebrawszy próbki, badacze rozpoczęli analizę. » It is bookish — perfect for a science report, but avoid it in casual speech, where zanim/po tym jak reads more naturally.
