To compare, use: más + adjective + que ('more ... than'): 'Mi barrio es más tranquilo que el tuyo.' menos + adjective + que ('less ... than'): 'Hay menos ruido que antes.' tan + adjective + como ('as ... as'): 'Es tan grande como tu casa.' Four common irregulars don't use más: bueno → mejor (better), malo → peor (worse), grande → mayor (older/bigger), pequeño → menor (younger). 'El metro es mejor que el autobús.'
