Impersonal expressions of necessity or value judgement trigger the subjunctive: « Es fundamental que se invierta », « Convendría que colaboraran » (imperfect subjunctive after a conditional). For relatives: « cuyo/cuya/cuyos/cuyas » means 'whose' and agrees with the thing possessed, not the owner: « un problema cuyas raíces son profundas ». « Lo que » is a neuter relative referring to a whole idea or unnamed thing: « Lo que me preocupa es la desigualdad ».
Describe a social problem you care about and propose one solution, using « es fundamental que… » + subjunctive and one « cuyo » or « lo que » clause.
