Energy flow: producers, consumers, decomposers

Energy moves through an ecosystem. Producers (plants) capture the Sun's energy. Consumers eat producers or other consumers. Decomposers (fungi, bacteria) break down dead things, returning nutrients to the soil. Nothing is wasted.
