DMCA & Content Takedown Policy
How to report copyright infringement on Vidaara, and how we respond.
Reporting infringement
We respect copyright and respond to clear notices of alleged infringement in line with the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent laws. If you own (or are authorised to act for the owner of) a copyrighted work that you believe appears on Vidaara without authorisation, you can send us a takedown notice.
What your notice must include
To be valid, your notice should include all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
- The specific URL or location on Vidaara where the material appears;
- Your contact details (name, address, email, phone);
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
How to send it
Email our designated agent at contact@vidaara.org, or submit the form below. On receipt of a valid notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the material and notify the person who posted it.
Counter-notice
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice with your contact details, identification of the removed material, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake. We may restore the content as the law allows.
Repeat infringers
We terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright.
