A free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere.
That sentence is our entire reason for existing. Everything we build is measured against it.
Our mission
To provide a free, world-class education to anyone, anywhere — regardless of income, location, language or circumstance. We measure success not in revenue but in learners who understand something today that they didn't yesterday.
Our vision
We picture a world where a curious child in a village with patchy internet has the same shelf of knowledge as a child in the wealthiest school district — where the deciding factor in what someone learns is their effort and interest, not their family's bank balance. We want Vidaara to be the place a billion learners turn to when they want to understand something, in their own language, at their own pace, for free.
How we'll get there
A vision without a plan is just a wish. Ours rests on five commitments:
- Cover the whole journey. From recognising letters in kindergarten to calculus and computer science in Grade 12, the path should never hit a paywall or a dead end.
- Teach for mastery. Practice, feedback and progress tracking that let learners fill gaps before moving on, instead of being marched forward by a timetable.
- Reach learners in their language. Starting with English, Hindi, Spanish and French, and expanding through community translation.
- Equip teachers everywhere. Free classroom tools, lesson plans and analytics, so one motivated teacher can lift an entire classroom.
- Stay free and trustworthy. Free by design — never funded by ads, and we never sell data, especially children's data.
The impact we're chasing
Access is only the beginning; what matters is whether learners actually learn. We track real outcomes — lessons completed, skills mastered, streaks maintained, board and entrance exams passed — and we publish our impact openly so donors, partners and families can hold us to it.
Access
Open to every learner on Earth, free forever, on any device.
Mastery
Learn at your own pace until the concept truly clicks.
Trust
No ads, no data sales, strong protections for children.
