A block of mass $m = 2$ kg slides down a frictionless incline of angle $\theta = 30°$ starting from rest. After traveling a distance $s = 5$ m along the incline, find the speed of the block.

Using Work-Energy theorem:

$$W_{net} = \Delta KE$$

$$mgs\sin\theta = \frac{1}{2}mv^2$$

$$v = \sqrt{2gs\sin\theta} = \sqrt{2 \times 10 \times 5 \times 0.5} = \sqrt{50} = 5\sqrt{2} m/s$$
