$$C_6H_{12}O_6 + 6O_2 \rightarrow 6CO_2 + 6H_2O$$

Moles of glucose in 1 g $= \dfrac{1}{180}$ mol

Moles of $O_2$ needed $= \dfrac{6}{180} = \dfrac{1}{30}$ mol

$$Mass of O_2 = \frac{1}{30} \times 32 = 1.067 g O_2 per gram of glucose$$

Nicely solved. For the exam, write the final boxed answer clearly to avoid losing marks.
