How many grams of copper are deposited at the cathode when a current of 2 A flows through $CuSO_4$ solution for 1 hour? (Atomic mass of Cu = 63.5, $F = 96500$ C/mol)

$$Q = I \times t = 2 \times 3600 = 7200 C$$

$$Moles of Cu deposited = \frac{Q}{nF} = \frac{7200}{2 \times 96500} = 0.0373 mol$$

$$Mass = 0.0373 \times 63.5 = 2.37 g$$
