If $p$ and $q$ are the roots of $x^2+px+q=0$, then

Correct answer: (a) $p=1,\ q=-2$

Sum $p+q=-p\Rightarrow q=-2p$; product $pq=q\Rightarrow p=1$, so $q=-2$.
