Prove that $\binom m0\binom nk+\binom m1\binom n{k-1}+\cdots+\binom mk\binom n0=\binom{m+n}k$.

Answer: Proved (Vandermonde's identity).

Comparing the coefficient of $x^k$ on both sides of $(1+x)^m(1+x)^n=(1+x)^{m+n}$ yields the identity.
