The elements, in your hands
Click any of the 118 elements to see its mass, group, electron configuration and family — then build an atom from scratch and watch its electron shells fill, one by one.
← All Virtual LabsInteractive Periodic Table
Search or click an element. Colours group the elements into families — metals, non-metals, noble gases and more.
Atom Builder
Add protons, neutrons and electrons and watch the atom form. The protons fix which element it is; neutrons change the isotope; gaining or losing electrons makes an ion.
pH Lab — Acid–Base Titration
Start with 25 mL of acid in the beaker and add base drop by drop. Watch the pH climb and the universal-indicator colour change — the steep jump is the equivalence point, where the acid is exactly neutralised.
Reaction Simulator
Pick any two reactants. If they react, you'll see the balanced equation and what you'd actually observe in the beaker — bubbling gas, a precipitate settling, a colour change or heat.
2D Molecule Builder
Tap an element to drop an atom, then click two atoms to bond them — click the same pair again to make the bond double, then triple. The tool works out the formula, names common molecules and checks every atom has the right number of bonds.
