Cyber hygiene is the set of habits that keep you safe online — like brushing your teeth, but for your digital life:
- Use strong, unique passwords and two-factor authentication.
- Keep software updated; use trusted antivirus.
- Don't click suspicious links or attachments (phishing).
- Think before you share personal information.
Cyber laws are the rules that govern online behaviour and punish cybercrime (hacking, identity theft, online fraud). In India, the main law is the Information Technology (IT) Act.
