🤖 Vidi's Key Points
- 100 paise = ₹1.
- Add the value of every coin and note to find the total.
- Common coins: ₹1, ₹2, ₹5, ₹10; common notes: ₹10, ₹20, ₹50, ₹100.
🟢Adding Money & Making Change
We add and subtract money just like normal numbers. To find change, subtract what you spent from what you gave.
Example: you buy a toy for ₹35 and pay with a ₹50 note. Change = 50 − 35 = ₹15.
👀 See a worked example
A pen costs ₹18 and a book ₹45. Total cost?
18 + 45 = ₹63.
You pay ₹100 for items worth ₹72. What is the change?
100 − 72 = ₹28.
🤖 Vidi's Key Points
- Add money to find a total cost.
- Change = money given − money spent.
- Keep the rupee values lined up, just like ordinary addition/subtraction.
