Static GK
Static GK is the bank of unchanging facts — capitals, currencies, national symbols, important days, awards and 'first/largest/longest' superlatives. It looks endless, but SSC repeats a core set, and because none of it changes, every hour you spend here is permanently banked. Group facts so recall is associative rather than isolated.

⚡ SSC shortcuts & speed methods
The fastest ways to crack this chapter under time pressure — the techniques that separate a 95+ percentiler from the rest.
- Group facts — all capitals together, all days together — for associative recall.
- Civilian awards order: Bharat Ratna > Padma Vibhushan > Padma Bhushan > Padma Shri.
- National anthem = Tagore; national song = Bankim Chandra Chatterjee.
- Neighbours' capitals/currencies are perennial: revise them as one block.
- Static GK never changes — time spent here is permanently banked.
