How the Vocabulary Builder works

  1. Pick your exam. Each track weights words by CEFR level to match the real test — GRE leans hard into C2, IELTS lives in the B2–C1 band that Band 7 demands.
  2. Learn in small, complete units. Every word comes with its meaning (English, and Hindi where useful), part of speech, IPA pronunciation, a real example sentence, synonyms and antonyms.
  3. Lock it in. The adaptive quiz tests what you just learned and keeps resurfacing the words you miss — forced recall, not passive re-reading.
  4. Test under exam conditions. Mock mode switches to English-only and times you, so recall works when it counts.

Vocabulary Builder — FAQs

What is the Vidaara Vocabulary Builder?

A free adaptive vocabulary course for GRE, GMAT, CAT, SAT and IELTS. It teaches each word with meaning, pronunciation, example sentence, synonyms and antonyms, then uses a lock-in quiz that keeps re-testing the words you miss until you know them.

How is the word list different for each exam?

Each exam gets a different CEFR difficulty mix matched to its real demands — GRE is weighted 80% towards mastery-level C2 words, while IELTS focuses on the B2–C1 band that Band 7 requires. You practise the words your exam actually tests.

Is the Vocabulary Builder free?

Yes — completely. Browsing word lists is open to everyone, and the adaptive builder and vocabulary tests are free with a Vidaara account, which is also free.

Are Hindi meanings included?

For IELTS, SAT and CAT, every word carries English and Hindi meanings, and Hindi can be switched off for mock-test conditions. GRE and GMAT run in English only, matching the real exams.
