Pronoun & Connector Clues

Pronouns (he, she, it, they, this) must come AFTER the noun they refer to. Connectors set the relationship: however (contrast), therefore (result), also (addition), for example (illustration).

Pronouns point backward; connectors set the link

A sentence with an unexplained pronoun cannot be first — it must follow the sentence that names that person/thing. Connectors tell you how a sentence relates to the one before it.

WordMeans the sentence…
however / butcontrasts the previous one
therefore / sois a result of the previous one
also / moreoveradds to the previous one
for exampleillustrates the previous (general) one
Chain with these clues. "It" / "they" with no named noun yet → the sentence goes later. "For example" → it follows the general statement it illustrates.
