Synonyms

A synonym is a word with the same or nearly the same meaning. When you don't know a word, break it into a root/prefix or recall it in a familiar phrase, then match the closest option. Beware near-synonyms that differ in strength.

Learn words by their roots

One root unlocks a whole family of words. Memorising roots is far more efficient than memorising isolated words.
